ABOUT ME

Jerome Dillinger

Monsieur DILLINGER

For over a quarter of a century, Jérôme Dillinger has created costumes and apparel for discerning clientele in France, Italy, and the United States. Born in Strasbourg, Jérôme pursued his higher education in Lyon, where he honed his skills and developed his unique approach to fashion and costume design. His professional journey includes significant periods working in Lyon, Strasbourg, and Rome, as well as other parts of central Italy. In 2024, Jérôme expanded his horizons by relocating to Chicago, Illinois and then Layton, Utah in 2025.

Jérôme's work encompasses a broad spectrum of creations, from historical garments to cutting-edge fashion. His expertise in historical garments and corsetry has been prominently showcased in two critically acclaimed television series: The Gilded Age on HBO and The Law According to Lidia Poët (La Legge di Lidia Poët) on Netflix. In the latter, the protagonist is adorned exclusively in attire crafted by Jérôme.

His meticulous approach to pattern creation and adherence to historical accuracy in both technique and final presentation set a benchmark in costumier. Jérôme’s contemporary and historical performance costumes fuse artistic flair with functional design. He has designed and fabricated costumes for internationally acclaimed burlesque artists, including Alekseï von Wosylius, Coco Das Vegas, Luna Moka, Maud’Amour, Ruby Schatzi, and Vivianne Dellamore, as well as for comedians and circus performers, ensuring each costume is as unique as the performer it adorns.

As a designer of haute couture, Jérôme's collections have captivated audiences in Lyon and Paris. His embroidery, distinguished by the exclusive use of ribbons, has garnered acclaim for its innovative technique, showcasing his technical mastery and creative prowess in haute couture.

Jérôme also offers customized tailored clothing outside the performance world, engaging with private clients to create one-of-a-kind costumes, corsets, evening wear, and bridal gowns that embody the pinnacle of elegance and personal expression.
