COMMISSIONING FAQ

Jérôme Dillinger offers a comprehensive range of services dedicated to the creation of bespoke garments. Clients may engage him for the full design process or for selected phases, including garment design, pattern development, fabrication, and embellishment. A commission may begin with a fully realized concept, a reference image, or an initial idea. Pattern development and fabrication commence only after the design direction and materials have been formally agreed upon by both the client and Jérôme.

Custom made garments require in-person fittings to achieve an exceptional level of fit, structure, and finish. These fittings are essential to the integrity of the final piece.

Pricing is determined by several factors, including material selection, the time required for detailed craftsmanship, shipping, and travel expenses for fittings outside the Salt Lake Valley and Wasatch Front. This approach ensures that each garment reflects both the client’s vision and Jérôme Dillinger’s meticulous attention to detail and artistry. Final cost varies significantly based on design complexity, time investment, and fabric selection. A typical bespoke dress, including materials, generally ranges from $10,000 to $50,000 USD.
